The bar graph below is before any batteries are added and clearly details the benefits of the volume of solar energy being generated against what’s being used immediately with the remainder exported to the grid, clearly showcasing how batteries can and do help improve the ROI to be achieved.
This customer already had a PV array installed and receiving Feed in Tariff. To negate the possibility of losing the tariff income we installed a 10kw Puredrive II AC coupled system which sits on the grid side of the meter and so doesn’t interfere with his meter readings.
